Table of Contents1. Terms and Policies2. Creating a Character3. Species Guide4. Official ApplicationThe StoryThe Galactic Empire is feared and repulsed by many people across many worlds. Stories of the horrors they spread are abundant, especially in backwater cantinas. The Rebel Alliance was formed by men and women who sought to live in the past, unwilling to accept that change had come. They plotted for years and eventually were able to stand against the Empire with force. Their first real victory was at Yavin IV where they destroyed the Empire's super weapon, the Death Star; a first indication of their growing threat. It is true that the Empire set up a command on the Mandalorian homeworld, Mandalore, and while some of the planet's inhabitants were angered and followed Fenn Shysa against the Empire others chose another path. The theory was to prove to the Empire that the Mandalorians, at least some of them, were loyal and that their command of Mandalore was unnecessary. When the Rebels killed the Emperor aboard the Second Death Star, those Mandalorians favoring the Empire felt a surge of dread, one of their best employers was eliminated. However, in 6 ABY a small band of them found a new way to work for the shattered Galactic Empire. They were hired by Moff Valatine, who had recently added "Warlord" to his title and was looking to not only take over some of his rival's fleets, but crush the infantile New Republic.

Board Terms and Polices
Applicant Age: Applicants must be 16 years of age or older to apply for membership and be approved due to a more adult content level. There will be no exceptions. If you are found guilty of lying about your age you will be permanently banned from participation on this website.
Accounts: After you have applied and subsequently been approved you will be able to make an account, however you will need to wait for it to be approved by MA Administration.
Application: During the application process the applicant must make a post in their application thread at least once weekly. If this is not possible the applicant must contact the administration to set up a specialized posting routine. Failure to do so will result in termination of the application process and the application will be considered Abandoned.
Re-application: We have implemented a "2 strikes and you're out" rule. If an applicant applies and is denied, then reapplies and is denied, the applicant will be deemed unfit for membership and permanently banned from this board. If an applicant abandons an application, reapplies and abandons the new application as well, that applicant will be permanently banned. Any combination of these two circumstances will result in a permanent ban. Withdrawn applications are exempt.
Withdrawn Applications: During the course of application some applicants may feel they want to step away from the process in order to brainstorm their characters in private, away from the time restrictions we require for the application process. It is then the responsibility of the applicant to post in their application thread that they wish to withdraw their application until a later time.
Roll-Calls: Periodically the administration holds a roll-call to determine which members are still active and which have abandoned the board. Roll-Calls typically last for two weeks, though special roll-calls may be made if the administration feels it necessary. Roll-Calls are not announced nor is any forewarning given, as they are designed to see which members check in on a regular basis. Failure to check in by the end of the roll-call will result in the deactivation of the member's account. Members who check in during a roll-call but are otherwise inactive may have their accounts deactivated at the discretion of the administration. Activity is determined by In-Character participation in role-play. Members who have left in good faith before or during the Roll Call are exempt from this penalty.
Leaving in Good Faith: The administration understands that real life is more important than this board and that times arise when a member cannot give it adequate attention. We therefore ask that you inform us in "The Official 'I will be gone' Thread", located in the Role-Play Information forum, that you will be leaving the board. By doing this the member leaves the board 'in good faith' of the administration and is free to return when they can dedicate their time. No re-application is necessary nor is any penalty exacted.
Returning Members: If for whatever reason a member is removed from the board or does not leave 'in good faith,' they must agree to a Probation period if they wish to return to active status. The Probation terms are as follows:
You must post at least twice a week for 30 days from your return. This will prove to us that we can count on your participation and that you are committed to this board. If at any time you fail to meet these terms you will be in violation of your probation and will be permanently banned from the board.
These terms are not unreasonable but if you find yourself unable to meet them the administration will consider special terms.
Character Killing: If at any time a member wishes to eliminate their character they may do so under certain conditions. First the member must present good reason for wanting change characters, backed by on-board evidence when possible. Second the member must submit a new application to the administration as proof that they have a new character conceived. The administration will confirm via email that the application was received, at which time the member's account will be deactivated and the member may re-apply. The member must go through the application procedure all over again with no guarantee that their new application will be accepted. Confirmation of receiving an application is not the same as approval of an application.
Should the member kill off their second character they will not be eligible for membership again.
Dead Weight: If the administration deems your character as being a useless lump who more often than not causes problems or does little to push the story forward then that character will be killed off within the story. Re-application is NOT possible in this case and the member will be banned from ALL future board activity.
Your Copyrighted Character: We advise against using copyrighted characters on this forum, however since everyone does not agree we have made the following ruling. Should an applicant apply with copyrighted material the copyright holder gives Mando'ade Aliit the right to use that character as administration sees fit during or after their membership. If the member leaves, the fate of their character (whether copyright or not) is up to MA administration, unless arrangements are made by the copyright holder at the time of membership cancellation. Furthermore, deletion of applications and other board content is at the discretion of administration. No exceptions.
Terms and Policies are subject to change without notice and any changes are considered effective immediately. By applying for membership to this board you agree to abide by the terms and policies set herein.

Creating A Character
We ask that you follow the words written below closely. They are in place to help you create a fun and enjoyable character.
The Roleplaying that we do here does not use statistics and dice to create a character. To make things more unique every person must go through a process of filling out and submitting an Application. That is what I will show you how to do.
Your first step must be to review carefully, not only the current events of the game, but also the Out of Character (OOC) information set up by the administrator. It will enable you to create a unique, high quality, and intriguing character. Later on down the road it will save you and the administration a lot of time as well.
Secondly you must go over the application and begin to brainstorm about your character. A good idea is to read over other member's applications in order to get a good idea as to what has already been done before. That way you're not doubling up on your background or personality traits. It's always good to go for something original.
Thirdly comes filling out the application. This is one of the most tedious phases to applying. Now that you have a good knowledge of what's going on, you can put your ideas down on paper. Be advised if the administrator is not satisfied with something, it could change, so keep an open mind. Most people would advise you to have a detailed biography for your character but that is not the case. The most important thing is your personality traits, habits, etc. These aid others in getting to know your character and how their characters will interact with yours. You can always add more to a biography in the future as new ideas come to you. You will also find that the more you play your character the more he/she will be developed in personality as well. Since we try to keep this as lifelike as possible development is also very essential. Everybody in time changes, people grow as they experience trials and hardships. It is the same with your character. If you create a character that has no space to flourish, there is no point in creating one at all.
Which brings us to another point, your character cannot be a god. Like real people your character must also have weaknesses, flaws, downsides. Do you chew your nails? Are you not the best at math? Your character is the same way. He may excel in mechanics but be unable to keep a plant alive to save himself or visa versa. Whatever his weak and strong points, these too help define him/her.
Now, as you can see, this is indeed a treacherous process, even though it may seem short and simple. It is not. But, with great care and consideration you can create something that is simply extraordinary. You can create a character that cries, that sleeps, that loves and hates. There are many grand things about Roleplaying, and I believe the creation and growth process of a being is the most rewarding of all.
Once again, please keep an open mind, as Administration will be going over your application to help perfect it.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: We request that you know how to write, punctuate, and spell when it comes to the actual RP. This will really help the flow of the story. If you are not good at spelling or grammar I highly suggest you first type your RP posts in a Word Document so it can be spell and grammar checked, then copy and paste it to the board. If you failed English class, I suggest you don't apply, it will save us all time.

Species Guide No custom species will be considered in an application. There are plenty of approved species to choose from. Hybrid species will be considered but there is no guarantee they will be approved. In addition, we will consider any species not on this list (other than those on the Banned list), but they also are not guaranteed to be approved. Only two of a species, one of each gender, are allowed to ensure a variety of characters. Species marked with an asterisk ( this symbol * for anyone who does not know) are considered advanced and will only be playable by advanced players. Only one advanced species is allowed regardless of gender. Humans are not on the list as they are consider the base species and are always accepted.Species in orange are currently in use, have met their allowed limit and will not be accepted on applications.
